Positive Peace is more than a lack of war. Positive Peace correlates with resilience to economic and natural disasters, better environmental outcomes, and higher scores for wellbeing and development goals. Using the Positive Peace Index to analyze the actions of community organizations shows that by advocating for their own agency communities can contribute to creating a stable, equitable society with high human capacity and positive relationships.
